umm yeah. So I am a goober.
I talked to my BF finally.
Perhaps news of the break up was premature.
It's back on but perhaps at a bit more sedate pace.
Meaning, he is going to spend a bit more time at his apartment---especially when he is sleeping.
Maybe this means I will get to have more quality time when he is awake.
But for now, it's on.
I'm relieved and feeling a bit foolish.
I dunno.

1. Make a list of all the qualities any man in your life must possess. The dead certain, no compromise on these points qualities. Things like, must not be a child molester, must not use illegal drugs.
2. Make a list of the qualities you really need in any man in your life. Things which, if he possesses 90% of the list, you are ok with that other 10% not being perfect.
3. Make a list of the qualities you'd like but aren't deal breakers if he comes up short (so to speak).
Try not to think of this current man when you are doing your list. In fact, don't focus on anyone in particular. Just be honest with yourself about what you truly need, want and deserve.
Once that is done, step back a moment and see where this current fellow rates on the list.
Is an ability to communicate on a regular basis a need, a want or a deserve?
Is honesty and personal integrity a need, want or deserve?
At the end of the exercise, keep your list. There will be times over the next few weeks you think of other items that belong on the list. You will likely find yourself moving some things from one category to another.
Whatever happens, I think you'll find the list helps you get a better handle on finding not a guy you can live with, but a guy you can't live without.
